A percentage of the proceeds from participating restaurants goes to support the New City Kids organization, which provides artistic experience, development, and leadership opportunities to youth in the community.

Official Hoboken LepreCon Crawl
The Hoboken LepreCon Crawl is an annual St. Patrick’s Day event that features Hoboken’s trendiest pubs and bars. Tour the venues and enjoy live music and entertainment, with restaurants and food trucks along the way. The all-access pass for this year’s crawl gives you free entry to all the venues and clubs participating in the event. Enjoy drink specials and exclusive access between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The entire event takes place on March 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets start at $21 per person.
Tenafly Street Fair and Craft Show
The Tenafly Street Fair and Craft Show runs from April 2–3 and features live music and performances, a DJ, a dance space, kids’ games, rides, and food. The two-day event features artists, crafters, and vendors from all around with tons of unique crafts and original works of art.
The Tenafly Street Fair and Craft Show is one of over 25 street fair events hosted by StreetFair.org, one of New Jersey’s largest craft and street fair organizers in the state. Enjoy shopping, eating, and browsing through the one-of-a-kind vendor items or sit back with some good food and listen to live music, all free of charge and open to the public.
Taste of Culture
Taste of Culture is an annual event that celebrates Jersey City’s ethnic diversity through different ethnic foods and cultural performances. The City Council hosts the event in the city center, typically between April and May each year.
Jersey City is one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the country, and the annual Taste of Culture event celebrates the city’s diversity with parades, festivals, and live entertainment. This year, the Jersey City event takes place on April 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. and is free and open to the public, making it an excellent spring activity for the whole family.
Snow Ball Gala: Into the Deep
Dive into the creative arts with Jersey City’s Snow Ball Gala: Into the Deep held at The Glass Gallery at Mana Contemporary. This annual event raises funds through silent art auctions to support educational programs and seasonal artistic events. The Gala is a creative black-tie event, where attendees can accent their “black-tie” attire in creative and unique ways. If you’re looking for an immersive artistic experience, the Snow Ball Gala is something you won’t want to miss.
Each year, the Snow Ball Gala honors professionals from art and design, with this year’s honorees Marchetto Higgins Stieve and Jack Halpin. This year’s Gala is held on April 30 from 6 to 11 p.m. Tickets prices at the door are $175 per person or $150 per person when you purchase in advance. VIP ticket prices are $250, with access to the Gala’s exclusive bar. Toast the honorees at 6 p.m. and enjoy live music and early auction access as a VIP attendee.
Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater
The New Jersey Performing Arts Center also hosts a number of diverse dance and musical events. With many upcoming performances headlining the center’s stages, you can find spring and summer shows for children, families, and young adults. In May, the performing arts center features the artists of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, a group performing ballet to a combination of works, including the masterpiece Ailey Revelations. Posing Beauty in African American Culture
Posing Beauty in African American Culture is an exhibition on display at the New Jersey State Museum. The exhibition runs from late January until May 22 this year, contemporary artists explore the ways in which Western historical and contemporary art have portrayed African American and African beauty over time. General admission into the museum is free, and parking is free on weekends. While Posing Beauty is a limited exhibition, the New Jersey State Museum has permanent exhibitions and additional upcoming events for the whole family to enjoy.
Jersey City Jazz Festival
The Jersey City Jazz Festival is a musical event that brings together a range of artists and jazz styles. This music event is set for June 4 and 5 this year, where you’ll hear music from emerging jazz artists and professional musicians. The two-day event features hundreds of artists, over 30 events, and plenty of food and drinks with the festival’s food trucks.
